Horizons Academy, a program under Al Nayzak Organization, provides inquiry-based, constructivist, and learner-centered education programs. Following Al Nayzak’s educational philosophy, all instructors are expected to foster active learning, critical thinking, and real-world engagement using the 5E Instructional Model.

 

Horizons Academy is seeking qualified History Instructors to join its instructor pool for upcoming

and future academic programs. This is a teaching role. Instructors in the pool may be invited to

teach history courses as needed, based on program requirements and institutional approval.

Role Overview

History Instructors will be responsible for delivering structured history courses to secondary school

and pre-university students. Courses emphasize historical understanding, critical thinking, and

discussion-based learning.

Fully Responsible for:

  • Teaching assigned history sessions in accordance with the provided curriculum.
  • Facilitating classroom discussions, inquiry, and debate.
  • Supporting student learning and engagement
  • Coordinating with the Horizons Academy academic team.
  • Upholding academic standards and a respectful learning environment.

 

متطلبات الوظيفة

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in History, Political Science, International Relations, Education, or a related field (Master Degree is a plus).
  • Previous teaching or instructional experience
  • Strong communication and classroom facilitation skills
  • Experience teaching advanced or discussion-based history courses
  • Experience working with diverse student groups

Note: This is a pool-based engagement. Inclusion in the instructor pool does not guarantee teaching

assignments during the contract period. Teaching opportunities are offered only when courses are

scheduled and instructors are approved by the Academy.
