The Surgery Nursing Manager directs the operational flow, clinical standards, and resource allocation of the Pediatric Day Surgery and Emergency Intervention room alongside the Lead Surgeon
Position Details
Lead daily OR workflows with the Lead Surgeon, optimizing surgical scheduling, room turnover, and emergency readiness.
Manage shift rostering, daily assignments, and performance for the OR nursing team and Central Sterilization Unit personnel.
Direct the day-surgery pathway from pre-op preparation to post-anesthesia recovery and same-day discharge.
Maintain immediate availability of pediatric crash carts, resuscitation equipment, and emergency protocols.
Enforce WHO Surgical Safety Checklists, infection control standards, and IPSG compliance while tracking departmental KPIs.
Oversee sterilization, inventory levels, and preparation of specialized pediatric surgical kits and pharmaceuticals.
Provide ongoing clinical guidance and training to nursing personnel in pediatric surgical care and emergency protocols.

Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Master’s degree Healthcare Management or Surgical Nursing is a plus.
Minimum of 7–10 years of clinical nursing experience, with proven leadership in an Operating Room (OR) or Day Surgery setting (pediatric experience strongly preferred).
Valid nursing license to practice in Palestine.
Strong background in OR scheduling, Central Sterilization Unit oversight, WHO Surgical Safety protocols, and pediatric emergency resuscitation.
